A simple walk along a dirt road near Yangshuo, in southern China. We smiled at the ladies planting rice. Everyone smiles. They offer Dave a rake, and he surprises them all by stepping right into the muck and helping out.
When people ask me what I do, I tell them that I'm staying at home with my girls. I don't tell them that I spent years in school and money to get a master's degree. I don't tell them that I was good at my job. I don't tell them that I loved the challenge and craze of working a job that demanded my all. Being a mom demands a lot of me, but it doesn't demand that I have good critical thinking skills or that I can write well. So I'm taking myself back to school, and you can grade my homework.
